Every job ends with a diagnostic report: what we found, what we did, and any parts worth replacing.
Bambu Lab printers
- Nozzle cleared and checked for clogs and wear
- Extruder drive gear, idler and filament path cleaned and lubricated
- Linear rails, bearings and lead screws cleaned and greased
- Belts checked for wear and re-tensioned
- Build plate, fans and chamber cleaned
- Firmware updated to Bambu Lab's latest release
AMS units
- Filament slots, PTFE tubes and couplers cleared of blockages
- Spool holders and rotary drive checked for wear and lubricated

Book online with your printer model and the problem. Photos or a short video help us diagnose it faster.

Drop it off, or we collect
Bring your printer to our workshop for free, or we pick it up and return it from SGD 60. We don't repair on-site.

We diagnose and quote
We find the cause and explain it. Parts or further repairs are quoted separately, and nothing goes ahead without your written approval.

Collect it, covered
You get a diagnostic report of what we found and did. If the same fault comes back within 7 days, we re-assess it at no extra service charge.

We service the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, A1, A2L, P1P, P1S, P2S, X1C, X1E, X2D, H2S, H2D, H2D Pro and H2C. Have a model that isn't listed? Message us with the model and the problem and we'll tell you if we can help.
Yes, the AMS Lite, AMS 1 and AMS 2. We clean the unit, clear blocked filament slots, PTFE tubes and couplers, and check the spool drive for wear. An AMS can be serviced on its own from SGD 70, or together with your printer from SGD 60.
Diagnosis starts from SGD 90, depending on your model. The full price list is on our repair page. If your printer needs parts or further repairs, we quote them separately and only go ahead with your written approval.
No, all diagnosis and repairs are done at our workshop. You can drop your printer off and collect it yourself at no charge, or we can pick it up and return it from SGD 60.
Yes. If the same fault comes back within 7 days of collection, we re-assess your printer at no extra service charge. The warranty covers the specific cause we fixed, not a different fault with the same symptom, or clogs caused by filament quality or storage.
Possibly. Firmware updates, factory resets and recalibration can clear print history, saved files and profiles, calibration data and network settings, so back up anything you want to keep before handing your printer over.
No. Layer By Layer is an independent repair workshop and isn't affiliated with Bambu Lab. If your printer is still under Bambu Lab's warranty, check with Bambu Lab or the shop you bought it from first.
